In 2014, I was commissioned to create artwork for two pairs of skis in different styles….
Kelsey was looking for something that felt reminiscent of the days of horse-drawn carriages, hanging wood signs and workshops lining cobblestone streets. Naturally this would need to translate well to a modern storefront as well. After working through a series of concepts, we landed on a final that hit the mark. To achieve this I used a slightly modified Declaration Script by P22 Type Foundry, and an Old Style type to compliment, placed on a weathered backing.
Kelsey designed the cards pictured here and had them printed locally. He was kind enough to share this image with me.
