What started as a personal blog for Jean became a popular hub for those in…
In the fall of 2013, Lori of Bridges Consulting got in touch about a logo design for her growing business. We explored a series of concepts around love, growth and community. She really loved the idea of a branch, and wanted a vibrant, colourful palette. The final design is a simple illustrated branch with colourful leaves, complemented by a warm typeface (Aller Bold and Regular).
After the logo was finalized we started on a fresh web design. I visited the after-school program and sat in on a board meeting to get a sense of the business, and capture photos for use online (at Bridge’s request—used with parent permission online). For this piece I branded a theme created by Justin Scheetz at Boxy Studios. Using Bridges brand colours and content and with a few code customizations, we assembled a slick responsive site that’s easy for them to maintain.
